10 years Zermatt Gravity Park - Jubilee Creative Rave

toZermatt to celebrate a special Swiss national holiday of August 1st: The park was amazing with tons of hidden special features, big jumps and a superpipe in a perfect condition.
The boys had already been riding the park on Saturday and preparing it for Sunday's Creative Rave session with a crew of 15 volunteer shapers. They had bulit some amazing mini shred features that you won't find in any other snow park, especially not during the summer season. A lot of mini jumps, some bonks, jibs and gaps as well as a huge ice bowl with a top wallride could be found while riding the various lines through the park.
The 10 year celebration of the Gravity Park was started Saturday evening with a "Knight Rider" dresscode party, so when the dedicated representatives, being Photodude Birri and Xoidi, arrived on the glacier late Sunday morning, everybody was quite tired but happy and still in the mood to celebrate. That's exactly what we did up there: This fine park got celebrated with each and every ride, and it was great to watch people, be it youngsters or older riders, having fun doing what they do best, even if it's completely out of season.
Too soon, Kesti gathered the crowd in front of the speakers to judge the "Creative Rave" and give away some goodies for the best style and most creativity in riding the park. 12 year old local rookie Gabriele Detta won the main prize which was a complete zimtstern outfit that seemed quite baggy on him... check the pics!
Also Alejandro Gonzalez Sanchez, who had travelled all the way from Mexico to honour Kesti and his crew, could finally grab a special gift for his Tex-Mex airs. Thanks a lot Kesti and the crew for everything, we'll be back soon!
